Author Highlights

Sav R. Miller

Ever since reading Promises and Pomegranates, I have been OBSESSED with everything Sav R. Miller writes. She crafts dark romances inspired by Greek myths that are nearly impossible to put down once you start.

Her descriptions are vivid, her characters are layered and unforgettable, and one thing I love about her writing is how each story exists within the same universe. Even if it’s just in small ways, her characters show up in each other’s books, which makes the world she build feel expansive and alive. I could happily spend all my time in her worlds.

The spice is spicy. The plots are plotting.

“Love the way it blossoms like a flower springing from the earth, igniting a compulsion like no other.” — Promises and Pomegranates

I have read every single one of her books in the Monsters and Muses series and every single one HITS. Every. Single. One.

Her newest series is Monsters Within and I am HERE FOR IT!

Want to dive in? Start with the first book in the Monsters and Muses series Promises and Pomegranates, inspired by the Hades and Persephone myth.

Hot tip! It’s free on Kindle Unlimited.

Lisette Marshall

I’ve been a fan of Lisette ever since I stumbled across her blog and read an excerpt from The Princess and the Thief. That little snippet had me devouring everything she had written. There isn’t a single book by her that hasn’t completely gripped me from beginning to end.

She builds worlds and develops characters so incredibly well that you can’t help but fall in love with each of them. One of my favorite things about Lisette is her use of descriptive language. Whether she’s describing a scene, a person, or a feeling, everything she writes feels like magic.

“…piercing into my eyes with an intensity that made the rays of the midday sun feel like dull, powerless punches.” — Court of Blood and Bindings
“A dark god ascended from the pits of hell to wreak havoc upon all those who wronged him, to mark his triumph in fire and blood – but there was no trace of triumph on his face. Only cold, ruthless calculation. Only death.” — Lord of Gold and Glory

Want to dive in? I’d recommend starting with Court of Blood and Bindings, the first book in her Fae Isles series. If you curious about her latest work, check out The Death Made Prince.

Hot Tip: Both are available for free on Kindle Unlimited.
